hossa!
mir is grad aufgefallen, dass ne wichtige band hier ja noch fehlt:
die PIXIES!!!
bin auf die pixies über den film "fight club" gekommen, wo am ende als die hochhäuser einkrachen ihr song "where is my mind" kommt....
hat mir gleich gefallen.
1986 gründeten charles thompson (alias black francis), Joey Santiago, Kim Deal und David Lovering die band pixies. sie nahmen alben auf:
surfer rosa 1988, doolittle 1989, bossanova 1990, trompe le monde 1991, death to the pixies 1997, pixies live at the bbc 1998, gigantic 2004 und trennten sich 1997 leider schon wieder: per fax schickte black francis die auflösung an die anderen bandmitglieder...(=>"death to the pixies"!!)
kim deal gründete die "breeders", deren sound sich stellenweise nach den pixies anhört.
black francis wandelt auf solopfaden (das wollt ich schon lang mal schreiben 
)
